And again !

Flo & me had a great walk today over her big park, she thoroughly enjoyed searching out the squirrels. We ended up on a narrow path and a young Spaniel with its owner met us head on round a bend. Flo & the Spaniel did the usual dog hello and Flo decided she was going to be super friendly this time and go for a second sniff.

At this point she put her expensive Kong Stix down and wandered round to do said sniffing, at this point the Spaniel seized it's opportunity and promptly scarpered with her Stix

To give credit, the Spaniel was super good with recall & was told to put the Stix down which he did

So hears the thing, how do I educate Flo to stop her getting mugged for her Stix again (this is the 2nd time) she is a little Dim at times

That's the distraction technique that is used a lot

If its the pink one maybe shes trying to give it away Iza ended up chewing hers in half lol shes not getting another.

Ian remember when we were kids(a long time ago lol) and we kept loosing our gloves,our mum use to tie them on a string in the arms through our coats,tie it to her coat ,sorry was just a thought

I have to be honest Col, I am a little embarressed carrying the pink Stix but it's Flo's absolute fave and she hasn't quiet managed to break it in two yet (the longest one has ever lasted).

Share your pain mate, when i got laska Marley was a bit possesive over food. trained him out of that but the thing is now any dog shows an intrest in what he has in his mouth he drops it for them bless him.

That's it - 2 leads, one for Flo and one for Stix. You could also try teaching Stix some recall...

It sounds like it's a fault of theirs not hers, just give her a kiss on the top of her head and tell her you love her, you'll both feel better.
