Sneeezing
Hi All,
My staffies have started sneezing and snorting all the time, is it possible for dogs to get "colds"? One of my girl has been on heat could this be the cause of the repaeted sneezing and snorting? I have taken there temperature and it is normal or just a little low 37.4°c to 38°c which is in the lower end of the normal range.
I think a trip to the vet is needed but was wondering if anybody had experiance this sort of problem.
thanks

Re: Sneeezing
Sounds like a virus. Toots had similar a while ago.
Maybe a vet visit just in case.

Re: Sneeezing
I don't think dogs can get colds but I would ring the vet and see what they think

Re: Sneeezing
Bo sneezes every time he goes out in the cold, without fail. Mostly four times (figure that out) but occasionally a dozen times or more. Never at any other times, I put it down to having a sensitive nose for temperature changes.
Edit: Noticed today that smoke causes him to sneeze a lot. Being rural here we have a lot of wood smoke from chimneys and the slightest hint of it sets him off. He sneezed solidly for five minutes this morning until we were out of the village.
