purizon 2
ive been feeding peppa purizon for two months now after she got used to it she loves eating it now especially mixed with goodies: quality wet food, sardines ,chicken and raw meat at some days.
im out of food and thinking of ordering purizon again as she likes it and its good quality and value my problem is that not only she gain no weight she lost some(back to 18 kg) but the vet is not worried about it says shes in good shape which she is i also took her with me to work so shes been very active lady lately. both of us.
could it be that the protein level 41 percent is too high ?? she has huge poos and sometimes runny but mostly firm but she eats grass like a goat and love drinking from puddles.
im thinking i wont drive her mad and reorder maybe change taste to lamb and salmon as protein level are slightly lower at 37 percent she likes lamb but im scared she wont like it and ill be stucked with 13.5 kg.
any advise will be appreciated im just trying to do the best for her

I'd say if she's doing well on it keep with it. I change Axl's food within the same label but I have to say the protein is the same in both. I think it should be okay though if it's the same label just different flavour. The protein level isn't that much lower, 4%, so I don't think it will make much of a difference. Also, I wouldn't say that's too much protein.
If she's doing well on it stick with it Axl should be moo'ing. He eats grass at every opportunity he gets! I do stop him from doing it but he's a sneaky little monster at times! Puddles are not a problem, he doesn't like getting his feet wet lol

Thanks debs I wish I knew whats this grass eating goating is all about she seems like she's really enjoying herself and showing her doggy friends! They stand in the high grass munching! Is it just quirky habit or deficiency of some kind?
The lamb+salmon sounds good but ill just stick to the familiar one for now as I don't want to confuse her for the moment it took her a while to get use to this one. What are you feeding axel??

Re: purizon 2
I'm not sure what the grass eating thing is about I think it's just a staffy quirk as a lot of them do it! Axl is fed on nature diet he loves it and it's really done wonders for his allergys i think it's great stuff would highly recommend it. I do stock up on Dentasticks though he has one a night to clean his teeth.
Maybe we should just fill their bowls with grass they love it so much LOL
