Hello from me and mine
Hello all.
I'm Liz, very proud mum to Chaos (staffie) and Nola (lab x retriever), both rescues. We live in north Essex, with great walks and beaches - who said staffies don't like swimming?
I was a remedial horse trainer, using only violence free methods - no whips, kicking or shouting - but ill health forced me to do less and less, so I now do some student support work and a bit of human training, and then spend the rest of my time doing animal charity work, photography and, of course, walking with the dogs.
As this is a staffie site, I'll introduce Chaos first.

This fab little dog was scooped up from the pound the day before he was due to be pts. His former owner knew he was there and actually walked past him to pick up another dog. . AA Dog Rescue stepped in, and from there he came to us. He was brought by AA's founder to see if he'd get on ok with our other dogs, with the plan that we pick him up after our holiday in Easter. He refused to leave! He literally spread all 4 legs and would not go back in the van. So he stayed and I didn't go on holiday. What the heck, it was only going to be the first holiday in 5 years!
As well as Chaos we have Nola. She's also a rescue, kicked out be previous owner, and has been with us for 6 years now. She's 7, going on 7 months in her mind.

They look like they get on beautifully. How did you know they would click? Well done - 2x rescues. And they are beautiful - as well as colour-coordinated!
