Think I've got a viral infection 
barely slept and got sent home from work. Unpaid too!
I've been drinking fresh lemon and ginger in hot water, got some fresh chicken soup and bread and some essential oils (eucalyptus and mint). Any other tips or tricks to clear it? My head is pounding, throat sore, voice gone, fever and lungs seem to be infected too

Have you seen your GP Rachel ?
A paracetamol may help for your headache and maybe some vitamin C will help - orange juice ?

Hey! Paracetomal doesn't seem to be touching it so frustrating. Haven't seen GP yet Kathy, was going to see how I go today and make an appointment if no better. My friend at work made me a big pint of freshly squeezed oranges, lemons and honey warmed up on the hob so had a pint of that this morning

Rest is best, keep warm. Get doc to give you something stronger than paracetamol i prefer the really stong ibuprofen or maybe antibiotics are needed.

Thank you all! Off work again today (very frustrating as I don't get paid, but can't risk passing it on to the SU's) going to take Bug out for a wander in a while to get some fresh air.
