Hi everyone

How are you all? What you been up to?
We have been pretty busy lately as are adding an on-suite shower/toilet to our bedroom. The original bathroom is downstairs and when you need to use toilet in the night, it's a pain to have to go downstairs. Had to move some of the fitted wardrobes to make room, but luckily, our bedroom is fairly big so will still look quite roomy.

Still walking daily with Tyler (sons dog) which has helped immensely and trying to keep busy as much as possible but I'm still crying for my girl and miss her massively!!! Is this normal after 6 weeks?

I will call in at Piglets tonight and have a drink as Iv'e missed you all lots and lots

hia sheila,you have been busy,very jealous id love on-suite in my bedroom,pics please!!i hav'nt been in your situation but i can only imagine i would be the same,stella was such a big part of your family it would be the same as if it was another member,i guess it just takes time love,your keeping busy so guess it helps xx

Stella, thanks. We put off the work for a year or so as Stella would have been really stressed with the upheaval as she was a proper wuss with the slightest loud noise. She used to run a mile when we got a retractable tape measure out

Sounds like you've been really busy with the builders in, having an on suite is very handy especially for the likes of me who tends to stay in bed till the very last min and then hop straight into the shower, mind you I'm late for work every morning without fail anyway I'm sure you're going to love the ensuite.

So pleased to hear that you're getting plenty of walks with Tyler, I'm sure he's helping with your grief, if only a little. I'm also sure it's entirely normal to still be upset still, 6 weeks isn't very long at all. The pain will ease as I'm sure it has a little already but nobody would expect you to not miss Stella massively.

A little news about my Flo I guess, she's doing fine and it looks like we might have found a cure for her nibbling her back paws, fingers crossed it continues. I've managed to lose my eldest back to Uni so it's a little quieter around my place and Flo is definately missing him.

It's great that you've not stayed away too long and I look forward to sharing a drink at the bar later with you

I bet you are missing your son as much as Flo is but it won't be long before he's back home for holidays - xmas just round the corner really

Hiya Sheila, so glad to hear from you, I would say 6 weeks is no time hun I still cry about my Bradley now and thats 4 years ago, so all part of the process. Glad walking your sons dog is helping XXx

We found a powder called Thornit which seems to be working wonders

I think I've heard of that. Fingers crossed it does the trick. It's strange she just licks her back paws. Stella used to always lick her front paws when she was younger

Going to our caravan today to close down for the winter. First visit since Stella died. Not looking forward to it but has to be done.
Taking some of her ashes to scatter....

i guess the first things you do without her will always be so hard,hope it goes ok lovey xx
