Re: Humpin has begun
Ped has started doing this for the last week and I have no idea why! He's been neutered and he didnt do it for the first month or so of us having him, its only been the last week. I think perhaps he's losing his dominance battle with us and is trying to get it back!

Re: Humpin has begun
Vin only humps with his bed, always after he has had his tea! I think its more excitement of feeling full tummied and content rather than sexual

Oh I must be lucky (so far) with Milo then. He tries it on with other dogs but not any of us - yet. Fingers crossed

Loki isn't neutered yet as he's only 7 months old, but it's really annoying, he's actually being a bit irritating at the moment Ahaha, I have no idea why tho.

Re: Humpin has begun
As long as you try to discourage him it shouldn't become a problem. Bane used to try it on with me - definitely not acceptable, and he has learnt that humans are not for humping. He sometimes gets to have some hump time with his blankets but we don't let him get too crazy.
We can't help but laugh sometimes though as he is absolutely hopeless at it, he would have no chance of having babies!

Re: Humpin has begun
Loki has a massive white teddy that is the same size as him that he rags around the front room, and then humps it!!!

Have you tried to distract him ? Maybe a squeaky toy may work for this ?
