DDA = botch job

Did anyone else hear the comment on R4 radio this morning about the DDA?
In the context of the constitutional changes required subsequent to the Scottish 'No' vote, a journalist (Mary Riddell: Telegraph) said it's important 'not to do a Dangerous Dogs Act on the constitution'. Meaning: to get it right, to take our time, to not rush into doing a botch job as was done with the DDA.
Nice to see this comment heading round the twitterverse.

no i didnt either but everyone knows it was just something cobbled together to please the masses who know nothing better. DDA in itself is a good idea in principle, but i think section one sucks donkey balls
