Bring your dog to work day Empty Bring your dog to work day

Post by RiV Fri Sep 12 2014, 05:17

Is anyone lucky enough to work in an environment that allows them to have pets on site? I don't really but the boss has gone on leave so I picked Harrie up at lunch time and bought her into the office.
I read an artical once that said having pets in the work place is good for productivity Laughing Laughing after Harrie met the other staff we then played ball for awhile and the office manager took photos of her, now Harries asleep on a chair and Im posting up on the forum I cant see much getting do today TGIF hey.

Cheers

Flo comes with me sometimes though I'm not sure she enjoys it much. Does make me laugh when people come into the office and not even realise she is there with me until I get up and she comes with me Big Grin

I used to take her with me when I worked in kennels, she just hung out in the staff room. I work in a secure unit now, so wouldn't be possible. Though one of the service users LOVES dogs and desperately wants me to bring her in so she can walk her, not sure how Bug would react..

I've only had one job where I could take my dog to work and that was mostly because they didn't want me leaving to walk her during a standard 16 hour day

Not as bad it sounds part of it was spent exercising and we had working breakfast, lunch, and often dinner. Plus I normally had the weekends off
