How much should i be feeding buster
I wonder if anyone can help me? I've had Buster just over a week now and ive been feeding him Bakers, which i now know is a big NO NO. So iv'e just been out to get him Wainright's Puppy food (Turkey and Brown Rice). The only thing is i don't quite understand how much i'm supposed to give him per meal. He is 3.5KG, so how much should i be giving him per meal?
Thanks in advance

When Suki was a pup we just went by the serving suggestions on the food minus a little if we fed allot of treats.

thats why i'm slightly confused. although its puppy food, the serving suggestions on the back suggest anything upto 5KG is a toy dog, and it looks like a miniscule amount to feed.

He will be up over 5kg in no time. We probally overfed a bit when she was a pup but since they have so much energy we figured a little extra couldn't hurt. Even now we just go by how she looks. If she gets to look heavy or gets less exercise we feed her less.
There will likely be someone along in a bit that pays much more attention to portion size than we do.

The amount you feed from a puppy will progressively increase until about 4/5 months before it decreases again (that's how the puppy food we were feeding was instructed). From memory when ours was 3.5 kg (at about 11/12 weeks maybe?) she was getting 1/2 cup dry food 3 times a day.
