Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me,
you could try giving the mother some puppy food, if in doubt give your vet a quick ring.

Re: new member
Hiya from me and Vinnie, not a breeder either but did read somewhere about puppy food and feeding more than normal.
Regular Maintenance Diet
If your dog was healthy before she was bred and she maintained her health throughout her pregnancy, you should be able to continue feeding her the same good quality food she was on before she had puppies. But since she will be feeding a number of hungry, growing babies, she will need about three times as much food as she would under normal circumstances. Increase the amount of her regular food and increase the frequency, too, so that she is getting fed every three to four hours.
Found this.

Re: new member
hi all,
steve she is having scrammbled eggs, cottage cheese, sometimes she will eat regular dog food, they r both on science plan dry food when she will eat it, vanilla ice-cream and also feeding her lactol regularly.
the pups are feeding well but just feel that cassie isnt eating enough herself.
