Seperation Anxiety!
Hi basically my staff is 10 months now and we have had her for around 14 weeks. She as settled in to our family really well and everyone loves her and shes made a close friend with my brothers male gsd they love playing together. How ever when we got we firmly believe she had a bad up bringing with previous owners and had been neglected with know basic training, walking, play active activity with dogs and people she seems very nervous around new people and sometimes cowards down around certain family members. She can get scared when out walking of cars, people getting to close, noises around like doors shutting, builders banging, people shouting. When she is at home she cant be left proper as she chews everything up and destroys, she doesnt like being left alone and follows you from room to room.We tryed crating her when goin out but she goes mad crying, barking until she dirtys herself if left uncrated she chews stuff up and bites stuff. When she is with me shes very clingy to me which i am worried about being to attached.she is jealous when my brothers dog comes up and it gets attention she dont like that and trys jumping up and pushing him out of way.I am off work at moment with damaged hand but hopefully due go back soon. But am very worried that i cant leave her at home if i am say at work all day. With the previous owners of her she was with another dog all day who she was very close with from when she was new born.

Re: Seperation Anxiety!
Try leaving her alone for just 5 minutes after a walk. Later that day make it 10 minutes and increase from there. Also leave an article of clothing with your scent on it, and a TV or radio playing.
