Canned & raw ??

My 10 mth old pup has 1.1/2 cans of dog meat split into 2 meals a day. Could I also give her as a treat raw chicken wings, turkey necks etc as well. If so how much would I need to cut down on the canned food please?

You certainly can though its hard to say how the raw compares to the tinned food, something like a chicken wing you'd hardly need to reduce at all but a Turkey neck you could probably lose almost a tin that day. I would say give it your best  guess and if he starts to lose or put on weight you know it needs adjusting slighty. Just give the raw at a different time of the day to the tinned so his stomach doesn't get upset.

Thanks sazzle - I was just fascinated to watch him chew through that chicken wing and he loved it so much. I would like to buy him meat and stuff from the butcher but have no freezer space to store it and nowhere to put a chest freezer, thats why I thought I could buy just a bit and give it maybe twice a week along with a smaller smount of canned food.

I'm sure that will be fine   I don't have the space for a chest freezer either so now Daisy has two shelves in the freezer and I just have one!!
