Hi - we are newbies
Hi Everyone - Boy am I glad we found you!!
We are parents to 2 a handsome boy Oscar and a cutie called Skye, they are brother and sister and 6 months old now. We lost our devoted staffie Gemini in January after a short illness, and vowed it would take a long time before we could even think about another dog - well that lasted 3 months We agreed we would have a boy this time and different colour to Gemini, so we looked for a black boy. We found him, and I went to pick him up at the beginning of March - at the last minute, I decided he would need company, and they still had a black girl, so without telling him, I turned up home with 2 babies .
They get along fine, we only have a couple of issues - 1 being they want what the other one has all the time, even when they have one each - how do we stop that? Or can't we stop it, or will they grow out of it? 2, they keep jumping up and mouthing when people come to the house as well as us. They do it more to me and my son than by husband.
Thats it for now - I am going to attempt to put a picture of the rascals on here now.

Hi from the kids and I
Bless them, they're going to be hitting the teenage phase and really testing you. The key is to be consistent and patient.
As Hayley says, trying yelping and turning away when they bite. They'll be teething too, so you may be doing this a lot! You can also distract them with a chewy toy (by the way, kongs, frozen towels, frozen fruit and veg etc are all great to keep them busy and will soothe sore gums).
As for them each wanting what the other has...well, my two will do that but I supervise and they're at an age where they've figured out how to share and play nice. Firm commands like "leave," "no" and "Enough" work well in this house
When people come to the house, start training the people Ask them not to give the fur kids any attention until all 4 paws are on the ground and there is calm. You could give your guests a treat to give the dogs once they have calmed down. "Sit" and the watch command also work great with patience and practise.
Anything else, just shout - we're all here to help
