As I spend a lot of money now on dried treats for Daisy I was thinking would it be more economical to buy myself a dehydrator? I think I've heard some of you mention them before? Would something like this work for drying things like liver and heart? It says it can do jerky which is basically dried meat isn't it?

We use on but ours is electric and goes up to 130 degress I think. We only do chicken and beef but it's healthier and cheaper than the store bought treats.

These gadgets are very useful, have considered them on numerous occasions myself  thinking  Would most probably work out cheaper than buying treats from the stores.

If you slice the meat thinner they are done faster and the treats last longer
