crawling

My 9 month old staffie loves to crawl on his stomach..Is this normal as I have never seen it before in a dog

does he do it alot?does does it some times but then rolls over for tummy rubs   

Biscuit does this quite a lot, but think it's a learnt behaviour as we laugh at her whenever she does it.. we call her froggy legs

If he not seen grass before he may be getting used to the feel of it and loving it.

I think you could be right he loves it.never had a staffie b4 but since having him.wouldnt change for the world hes great.

Daisy does when she playing sometimes and she drags herself of the sofa leaving her legs behind!

Mias favourite is coming off the bed shes on the floor and her legs still on the bed pmsl

Yup all pretty normal for a Staff. Flo likes to leave her legs on he sofa and crawl towards her toy etc  

All sounds very normal. They are so funny to watch  

Suki does this all the time as well so very normal for the breed   

Yep, both of mine do the froggy commando crawl
Stig will lie at the back door for ages in the crawl position, surveying his kingdom (the back garden)   

This is interesting as Rocky never this pose (in the post above) although he is part Border Collie so this may be why not   He does herd us into the bedroom if we are late going to bed though
