She only does it when she's sleeping next to me or Martyn.. People always think that she's growling at us but I think she might be purring?! Lol! Do any of yours do this? I've been having a horrible pain day today, and she's been on my lap doing this for the last 20 minutes!

it is a growl yes but they growl for so many different reason, just like their tail wags, different tones mean different things, from content, play to aggressive. My youngest does it, right little snorker.
