I think only 3 weeks or so. School is almost year round here

i love that uk should be the same

Keeps them from forgetting everything they learned and they are less likely to get into trouble out of boredom

yep i think they should do 8am to 6/7pm also even for the last 2/3 hours they doing whatever they want in class

It's almost like that here. Most kids either have sports or additional classes after school

yea school class keeps the kids fit but i'm sure they teachers would moan about extra work

It could justify a pay increase though.

oo yea but they be moaning about losing their holiday i'm sure, nottingham where i am they all went on strike becasue they didn't want to lose the 6 weeks holiday in the summer

That's too long of a vacation anyway

Was gonna say 6/8 weeks here depending private or public x

i know, nottingham city council wanted to take 2 weeks off it add 1 week on christmas and easter

Schools around here finished on Wednesday. Will have to avoid town for 6 weeks now
