Frosty acting strange
Frosty has been acting increasingly frightened of ordinary things. Recently (as in last 5 days), he has decided to be too scared to go for walks. All out shakes, panting etc. Usually I can get him to go for one of his two normal walks, but it is really weird. Also, two months ago he decided the TV was too scary. He now runs and hides whenever it is on even if it isn't loud... Now today, my wife tells me he is hiding and acting frightened as they are playing games on their iphones... Any ideas? Had him checked out recently by his vet and nothing seems physically wrong... I just don't get it.

That is strange, anything that could have frightened him or a change in routine?

The funny thing is, nothing is loud. It may have been traveling and such. I just don't know.

It sounds quite bizarre. I hope you work out why he's so scared! Poor guy.

Re: Frosty acting strange
Yeah. I'll try to act normal and maybe change routes up a bit for a while and see if it helps. Just don't know what to do about his fear of noises (TV, normal life stuff really...).

Re: Frosty acting strange
Suki was scared of loud noises and trains. We played the noises on the computer at increasing volumes to get her used to it. Took some time but that might work

Re: Frosty acting strange
No, I might have to get his hearing checked out. Walks last night and this AM were normal so that is good!

Re: Frosty acting strange
Maybe get a second opinion from another vet Ben, don't want to worry you but could be the onset of epilepsy or another neurological disorder.

Strange. Wonder if the travelling has unsettled him. Hope he comes around quick and realises nothing's gonna hurt him poor fella.
