Same old same old here but trying to take things a little slower this week as I think I was feeling ill yesterday with burn out. Got a bit of shopping to do

I broke a tooth at the weekend and have just seen my local highway robber Dentist and told I will need a crown. He gave me the estimate and all I can say is I now know how he can afford that shiny new Porsche !   

On the bright side, this time next week I'll be on a mini break in Dorset with Flo and the O/H staying in a Pub

Ha you no me well

Feels really weird I've packed Ledger off to kennels for two nights partly to see how he copes and also as my fella is back but about to jet off again for upto another 3 months on Wednesday so we are having a full day together tomorrow and going walking up Snowdon (too hot for the pooch who has struggled with 20mins walk the last few days)

Wed the car is in for MOT but otherwise not much else planned til back in work Saturday

Well it has been a week since I last went to a theme park

That's just not fair Jules   

One of these days I will throw myself out of a perfectly good plane and land under canopy just so as I can say I did it  

Ah that's my plan for Friday

14 hour shift completed and I am now on annual leave plans so far... Catching up on house/garden stuff today so that I don't have to do it in the week, going to see my very heavily pregnant sister who is due any day now! Furniture shopping when Martyn gets home, coffee with a friend tomorrow and then food with my dad and his wife. Going to Cornwall for the day to see my mum and her wife and take Bug to the beach for the evening, probably chill Friday morning and then got a friend and her little Yorkie coming down for some dartmoor adventures at the weekend! And then back to Cornwall for a spa day for mums birthday. And then work again!

Awesome day spent walking up Snowdon took us 2hrs 20 from the Lake in Llanberis to the top (with a 5-10min break about 2500ft up)

and bonus news the fella doesn't have to go back to work as planned tomorrow so we may do Scafell Pike on Thurs

And you didn't think to pack a chute to BASE jump off it Jules ?   

Haven't done a BASE course yet

What's your favourite theme park Jules ?

Alton Towers for rides and it's close by. Really want to do Thorpe Park tho

I like Alton, had some great weekends there and agree, the rides are good. Thorpe is great, I haven't done the new ride there yet but my youngest went a couple of weeks back and says its a cool ride.

Chessington is for smaller people so wouldn't recommend that.

Oh yes sounds my kinda place!     Penguins is about my limit!!   

They are very cool Penguins I can assure you   

They even like a party... My Bro went to a wedding there many years ago when they used to do that sort of thing and he ended up in the Penguin enclosure posing with a few   

Drayton Manor was much more kid orientated tho the Ben 10 ride was surprisingly good! They also have a zoo
