Ooo might have to get a chocolate one, Inez. No, we also don't have friends to share with - we'll have to do long-distance fondue parties   rolling on the floor

Fab idea Lisa yes cheese ones are good to but my fave are the different bits of meat and mushrooms put into fry, did chocolate one with cointreau in and had fruits and marshmallows too  Big Grin

Do you get Bar One chocolates? Remember we used to melt those with cream and dip in marshmallows, bananas and the like

Col, I read that you should drink black tea or water when having fondue so the cheese doesn't congeal and give you indigestion  Rolling Eyes

We have a fondue set (only used it a couple of times) that we did meat and mushrooms in. When my brother was stationed in Gutersloh in Germany we went to Switzerland for a week with him to a place called Gruyeres. They had a Cheese Fondue restaurant there and the smell was awful!  sick They also did chocolate too.
