WhatsApp...

Help needed, have a Samsung Galaxy and all of a sudden it has stopped showing names but contact numbers. All the numbers are +44 - didn't change anything and its really bloody annoying - tried most things I have read on the web but if anyone has any idea I am all ears   

have you updated it? or your phone?

I don't know how too lol - I can't find a way to update it - I know that sounds daft but I really can't!

do you have your phone sofaware on your laptop?

you need to d/l the notebook plug your phone into your laptop and download all the new update, janey you should alway keep your phone update silly phone are very hacker able

Well I have uninstalled it and reinstalling it - yes I know it should be backed up but I am pants with technology lol

Well so far - on phone to virgin again, hour later they can't suss it - me annoyed thought just gonna buy another phone - new phone, swap sim and............same dam thing! Call virgin 1 hour later they told me to email google play - helpful!

So factory re-set my old phone - set it back up with a new email unlinked with playstore - thought that will do it after sacrificing everything and low and behold.....its still the same - so if I am quiet tonight its because I am ready to kill someone!

maybe it a fault on whatapp have you had look on their suppot forum?

In Settings > Contacts > Show all contacts

Very weird - even when you reinstall Whatsapp it should automatically show contacts' names Good luck hun!

Yep all fine - its not just whatsapp no internet nothing - as someone said to me earlier you now have a phone from 2010 can't do anything except message! Hair is well and truely pulled out as I can usually sort these things, I am seriously lost on this.

is the phone you bought the same model or the new one?

yea i cant use whatapp with my ipod becasue the ios or whatever is to old
