Clumsy pup
My pup beau is 11 weeks old now and seems a bit clumsy! For instance not putting the brakes on when running around, she also seems to love going out in the garden and just throwing herself on the floor as if her legs have given up? I know this is probably normal and i'm being a little over sensitive, just never had a staff before and we just recently lost a spaniel through it having a bad seizure so every little thing with this beautiful small person seems a big deal.

Re: Clumsy pup
Sounds about right!! Our 4 month old is still the same. Does she fall over when having a scratch or when cleaning herself? Followed by the look that says "I meant to do that"?

Re: Clumsy pup
Sounds normal to me too! I often wonder how Biscuit hasn't broken her legs when throwing herself on the floor mid run! She has no breaks at all and often runs into the house at full speed, goes sliding across the laminate floor and crashes into the wall! I wouldn't worry

Re: Clumsy pup
Sounds like a perfectly normal staffie to me, Katy is always throwing herself on the floor & certainly hasn't got any brakes

Thanks everyone, it's great to be able to ask other staffy owners about things, even if they do seem little

I love it when Milo does that - its so cute. He does it on the park too when he runs after a ball and catches it
