Re: how was work?
Fun! But draining. Trying to motivate a person with depression can be tiring.

I know she's been in a slump for about 6 months. Some days she's really positive but she hasn't left her room in days

Re: how was work?
i think my mum got a mild form of depression since being laid off she used to love her job goverment cut back she lay in bed till about 10/11am some days
Re: how was work?
Oh really? It's awful, and people are so ignorant towards mental health problems sometimes, it makes it even harder for people to talk about. Must be so hard losing a job that you love, it effects your whole well being!

Re: how was work?
Work was great today despite my hands being too cold to type, got 10 articles done; got the housework done; made dinner; exercised the doggits; had a committee meeting for the complex and now it's time for hot choc, bed and book

A very similar experience tonight it never ceases to amaze me how some people stay so strong despite being in a continuing battle with their mental health

Re: how was work?
you take to your bed for weeks/months, you only eat 1 slice of toast a day 1 glass of water, don't shower or bath for weeks until your partner helps you there and has to wash you
you wont have the curtains open in your bed room or windows
you only get to stay at home as your partner is home 24/7 and can lock up the mers

Re: how was work?
No worries cant go into detail but almost exclusively my contact is centered around people at their absolute lowest or extreme points
Now twice in two days I have spoken with people who have experienced more tragedy, violence etc in their lives than the average person but are able to display a determination not to be overwhelmed by their individual conditions any more!
