I'm after some advice. The past two or three days Casper has found his bark and is quite honestly driving me slowly crazy. He barks whenever he is in his cage. He is getting his two walks a day plus a bit of running indoors while playing fetch. He has chew toys and a bone while in his cage. He's also getting some training on his commands..so he should be tired right? He's also barking when out if nobody is paying attention to him. So I'm guessing its an attention thing? Is it just a phase that they all go through? How do I stop it?

He's now improving..I've been covering his cage so he can't see any of us when he starts barking and removing he cover when he has been quiet for a few minutes. He's now stopping barking quicker. Looks like I've got a quick learner on my hands thankfully

Sorry I can't help, I've never really had a problem with Meg barking. I did read early on when Meg came to join our family that barking shouldn't be encouraged. Basically saying to a dog things like 'who's here?' 'what's that?' can wind a dog up a bit, so although I really wanted to say it, I didn't. Seems to have worked for me, but not 100% sure if it's just coincidence.
