Supposedly you get a better nights rest with darker colours as they reflect less light noise from outside. Personally i like the flame frenzy but there is a very good reason im in IT and not interior design.

I have a dark choc with gold ribbon pattern paper on my 'feature' wall and probably closer to the fawn on the other 3 I have a selection of shades of brown for bedding and one set that reverses to a duck egg blue all work but the blue shows up the dog hair!

I have similar in my front room (havent got round to doing the middle room yet) 100+ year old house = all kinds of uneven walls so dad papered in cheap anyglipta (sp) then I painted the colors I wanted

last time i did my room all the plaster fell out a i had the hole thing redone so it just an paint job this time there a couple of crack that need some no more cracks but it should be done a couple od days

And that is why masking tape is amazing managed to find some the other year that has sandwich bag type plastic on one edge so you can be as messy as you like  Laughing

Try to get some of the sample bottles first to give you an idea of how each colour will look. We have three walls painted magnolia then a feature wall with Raspberry Torte colour on the other wall.
