2 little gardeners

I had a tree removed today and some others trimmed. The fellers did such a neat job and the flower beds looked lovely..until 10 minutes later when two little tinkers dug a big hole where the stump was!!

We gave up on the garden a while ago as they do it for us - pulling up my newer trees; digging holes in flowerbeds and in the grass and pulling shrubs apart or digging up plants in pots. I'd love to put new grass down in Spring and plant stuff, but it's just not worth it. And that's with giving them a digging area all to themselves.

Anybody else have messy little gardeners?

   did they replace the tree with compost or some else? they may like the smell

Not even, they just softened the soil around it and flattened it out. I was so insistent that they didn't use compost (and especially not poison) because of my nosy beggars   

Someone once told me to put their own poo in the holes they dig...and it works...they just go off and dig a new hole elsewhere    

I have more holes than garden!
My last 2 destroyed everything and now Toots digs towards Australia!
It's Toot's garden now, I just mow it for her

Lula loves digging and we got loads of holes in are garden
