Swimming lesson #3 - Proud of our boy :)

So proud of Marquez today - not only did he do almost 30 minutes in the pool but half way through his instructor took his jacket off and we found out our boy can swim after all     He still has a bit of work to do but it looks like he can swim without a jacket.  Definitely not as terrified as the first couple of times and by the end of today, he was hanging out by the edge of the pool with a smile on his face

Aw   he will be wanting his own private pool soon.

Gosh he does love it by that smile. Fab I may have to give it a go with Vin if I can find somewhere round here

Actually he will have one come August which is why it is so important that we have him learn how to swim now especially if he falls in accidentally. We're getting our pool redone at home in Spain and its going to be very deep at the end so we want to avoid the situation he got into that first time he fell into the pool and didn't have a clue of what to do and just stood like a fool on the bottom of the pool until the hubby went down and lifted him out.

He's definitely improving and getting more confident with each lesson. Seeing him just hang out and standing by the edge with that smile of his when he was taking a break between laps was a very proud moment

Google dog/canine swimming pools/hydrotherapy in your area and I'm sure you'll find a place.
