how was your day?

i had a nice relaxing day   

Pretty productive. During our walk our across the road neighbour came flying round the corner in her car, opened her gate and her little fluffy dog came flying out towards Roxy and Vinny. I managed to chase it back but of course my two were pretty angry and tugging the OH's arm off and what does the neighbour do? Sits in her car and just shrugs. Took every ounce of self control not to scream at her   Other than that, a pretty good day!

I watched my 3yr olds nursery sports day. Most of the races were in teams and one goes off to do the egg and spoon race and then tags the next one on the way back. However in the last one they were all lined up and had to run to the far line and run back to the start. My little one was slow to get running then when she saw this group of kids returning and heading for her she did an about turn and ran back coming in second!    No one was actually taking any scores at their age and it was obvious what had happened, was so funny though.
Im still eating my way through all my birthday chocs!

Strange day.. Was on conference calls all morning so gave me an opportunity to write some long overdue reports.. Then nearly missed the top boss saying ridiculously good things about me. Also gave me a chance to work out the logistics for later this week.

So all in all a pretty productive day.
