Alfie not right Empty Alfie not right

Alfie's really not been himself the last few days. He is very quiet and just seems a bit down. I gave him a worming tablet on Wednesday night and yesterday morning and this morning there was a big worm in his poo (sorry really gross I know), could this be what is making him behave so strange? He just seems very lethargic and isn't the bundle of fun and energy he normally is. Trying not to worry myself too much but it's really hard not to when you know they're not right! He's 9 and a half months now by the way xx

Can you describe what this big worm looked like ?

If he is seeming unwell maybe give the vet a quick ring to explain things.

It was long and mostly white. I know the working tablets normally flush them out but it just seems a coincidence that he's acting so strangely. I think I might have to. Thanks x

Hope he perks up soon! Maybe the wormer has dislodged some and just upset his tummy a bit?

Thank you Smile he got back to himself after a few days but I spoke to the vet today about a separate issue and mentioned the worms and not being himself and they did say that having worms can make them feel unwell so that explains it! Xx
