Hi from Jenny and Sid

Just found this as I was looking for information on weak back legs as Sid is very wobbly. He is on tablets for stiffness but now his back legs seem to be giving way. He is not in any pain, just confused. Reading some others have had the same problem and are now ok has made me feel better. We will be back to vet tomorrow. Thanks

Thanks for all your kind wishes for Sid. He saw the vet yesterday and there are a few possible causes. Hopefully it will be a small blood clot that will disperse. He has improved slightly which is a good sign the vet said. X-ray in a week if he has not recovered. Fingers and everything else crossed! He is 11, still full of life, bit grey round the muzzle but very handsome!

Sid has now had X-rays and he has two slipped discs. He tried hydrotherapy yesterday for the first time. He couldn't really get the hang of walking forwards on the treadmill in the water. We are getting physio to do with him from the vet. He isn't in any pain and is coping a bit better with the wonky leg. No long walks now though and any short must be on grass. Poor old sausage!
