Dog rescuers

Did anyone see Dog Rescuers last night?
Great breed promotion there. Toots wagged her tail when they showed Cassie staffy!    

I watched most of it last night and to be honest, Tyson the Staffy that was recruited by the Police as a sniffer dog came as no great surprise to me knowing what our breed are like. I was more surprised by the Police handlers reaction to him being a Staffy and being as good as he was

I watched it too. Wished they got the car registraton of those that dumped Tinsel. I agree, a good programme for the breed (for a change), especially liked Tyson passing all of his tests.    

I missed the first half but caught the second on plus will make sure i catch it all next week.
Does anyone know if its repeated

Aw that staffie was so enthusiastic! Glad it was doing so well with its police training
Cannot believe tinsel was dumped OUTSIDE the rescue centre on the road! Why not have the decency to take it in safely

Tyson has sadly since been put to sleep under BSL. Horrific.

I wasn't going to watch it at first but glad I did

That's the one! Despite passing all behavioural tests with flying colours. Death by tape measure!

How can that happen when Tyson was with the police, fully trained and not a dangerous dog. Unbelievable!

It really should not just be the size of the dog thats under consideration; IMHO that should be used it as a possible signpost towards a more indepth evaluation and assessment of the owners suitability to provide the right envioronment and meet the needs of their dogs.

I meet three small crossbreed terriers who were not under control, not on a leash who acted as a pack and cornered Pink on her lead, under control having steeped well off the track by at least 30 foot. They nipped and goaded our feet as well as my dogs ankles. Pink just stood shaking in fear and their 'owners' thought it was funny then egged their dogs on! If I had anything to ID where they had come form I would have reported those dogs.

How sad that tyson was put to sleep such a shame.

Very sad news about Tyson     , he was a gorgeous little dog and certainly deserved better than that outcome.

I just can't watch it!
