Hiya,

I have a 3 year old staffy and over the last few days we've come to notice he has 2-3 protruding veins down the right side of his back towards his back leg,he hasnt been eating as well as normal which we thought was down to the nice weather recently had, apart from this he is his normal self.
He'll be going to the vets tomorrow but just want to try and see if this is normal in staffs or i'm overreacting?

Hiya and welcome to the forum.

Can't say I've heard of protruding veins, but if he's normal in himself apart from the loss of appetite which certainly could be down to the heat, I wouldnt worry too much, and I'm sure then vet will be able to put your mind at ease tomorrow. Let us know how he gets on Smile

I must admit that's one I haven't had any experience of, I'm afraid.

I'm sure the vet'll put your mind at ease, though!
