Member location?

Would it be possible to have a board that members can put their location in? I just thought it would be nice to maybe find others who may be local that would be interested in maybe meeting up for a doggie walk or something.

Good idea, but if you look in your profile set up, you will an option to put your location on view. If you look at mine to the right it says Derbyshire. I actually live in Chesterfield and could change it to that if I wanted. I suppose it would be easier to locate nearby forum friends and meet up, but I would suggest that it's done in a public place and not a remote location. You can never be too careful!

Yeah I had spotted that, but if I wanted to find someone local to me it would mean searching through every member profile to see their locations. I just thought a board might make it easier to find someone local, not necessarily to meet up but to share info on local areas or doggie related people etc that people have found to be good.

I agree with you, and it wold be nice to maybe meet up and go for a walk in someone's favourite area
