Rogue – 6 month old female Staffie X Labrador Pup - Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
Rogue is a 6 month old young pup girly who is looking for her forever home. She is medium sized and has a rich light brown brindle, short coat with golden highlights and a very soft and endearing face. She was homed when she was just 7 weeks old. Due to a change in their working shifts, Rogue’s owners are unable to commit the amount of time needed to take her on long walks and give her the attention she needs.
Rogue is a very energetic, excitable and playful dog who laps up attention. She is currently living in a busy household with 3 young children (age 3, 5 &12).
Her owner had this to say about Rogue:
“Rogue loves to go on big long walks, then gets home and sits in a sunny spot to have a snooze. In the evening she enjoys sitting with one of us on the sofa, usually snoring very loudly. I imagine that she dreams of running as her legs often twitch as she sleeps. By 9 p.m. she is soundly asleep and has to be moved to her crate in the kitchen to sleep where she stays quite happily till 7.30 the next morning.
Rogue enjoys playing with the children in the garden, fetching a ball and playing football. She loves water too, especially when the sprinkler is switched on. In a cheeky moment she will occasionally collect the odd sock from the radiator! She will be a very rewarding dog for someone who has the time to give her the exercise and attention that she needs.....she definitely is a love-able Rogue”.
Rogue can be happily left apart from the occasional accident. She travels often and well in the car, is friendly towards other dogs out on her walk, but is yet to meet a cat so untested.
Rogue as had no formal training, but has mastered Wait, No, Off, Bed, That’s Enough & Paw. Other commands like sit and stay are a little hit and miss! We are sure that she has the potential to add further strings to her bow though. She just needs to find a home that can give her more time, attention and make her their focus. A home that wants to bring her on and add the polish that further training would achieve.
Rogue has had her annual vaccination, kennel cough vaccine and been wormed & micro-chipped. She is living with her current owners in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
If you are interested in offering Rogue a home for life please email for our questionnaire in the first instance to: starfishdogrescue@hotmail.co.uk
Please note that any potential home will be subject to home check.
