going uni soon lol

My local uni is running day courses/lectures for next few months mostly about mental health issues so i have been accepted for 3 'understanding panic & and anxiety' in July 'understanding male depression' in September and 'onwards and upwards climbing out of black holes' November.

Think they will really help me understand more about myself and yes Steve they are free   

That's good to know you have enrolled on these courses Colin. It can only help you in the long run. All takes time and this will be a big step in helping you understand the problems you are having at the moment.  

Not sure if you would be interested but a friend of mine has just started this podcast......

Ah brilliant! Don't mean to be too personal, but have you ever tried cognitive behavioural therapy? It teaches you as much about your brain and how it functions as it does help you to manage your mental health. I found it really interesting, had it for nearly 2 years, but I was very unwell at that point. I think generally they offer 6 sessions on the NHS initially.

No i don't mind talking about it anymore   Yeah still use worksheets and keep a journal, helps me a lot with some issues.

Hi l also live with a gremlin on my shoulder, one of the 2 big daddies of MH.

First you are facing your MH problems head on you rock and at long last male depression is talking about it, I did a 2 week course just for peeps the same as me, the best you could say what you wanted and they would all say been we had a lot of fun but we also learnt
I have empathy with and I hope you learn and maybe make a couple of friends
