slow down feeding bowls ?
hi all ..I have noticed Tia is swallowing her kibble whole more then chewing it so i was looking at all these slow down feeders , have any of you tired any of the brands out there and if so how did you rate them ? many thanks for any replies. oh she is on Eden small kibble.

I did get one for Axl when he was smaller, he used to do the same thing, it actually felt like he would hold his breath and swallow until it was all gone rather than breath and chew! Anyway, we got a slow down bowl but he realised that if he just flipped it over all the food would come out and he could hold his breath and inhale off the floor!
They are a good idea but didn't work for me I'm afraid..

Yes, they are a good idea, you could also try stuffing the food in a kong, this will slow her down too.

lol they are clever..i have used a kong but she just plays with it lol she used to eat fine but this last week she is just swallowing it im sure that ant be good for her tummy..
