First run

Ok it's taken me a while to get around to it but this morning me and Daisy went for our first run together! We walked for 10 mins then ran/walked for 30 then finished with another 10 mins walk. Daisy was really good, very proud of her. Also quite proud of myself and surprised how far I could actually run! Must be fitter than I thought! Did do a fairly flat route (which is tough to find around here!) feel really good now   

Well done Saz, you probably are a lot fitter than you think you are, if you walk every day anyway this is great exercise and will gradually build up your stamina. Keep up the good work

We have been practicing just doing short runs while on walks because she always got really excited, seems to have paid off

I've never got into running before (have tried a couple of times) but I'm missing the gym so am determined to get into it this time   

I used to run when I was younger and enjoyed it very much. Just for fun though and to help me get fit. If I'd had a pooch at the time, I would have got them running too  
I'm pleased that you pace yourself and Daisy as they do love to stop and sniff etc. I occasionally see runners with their dogs and both look happy. Better outdoors running than being stuck in house this fine weather!! xx
