you went around someone house for am meal

and you hated what they cook would you eat it or say you dont like it and leave it?

I would say I wasnt fussed but wouldnt leave, where theres free wine   

about 4 years ago i stay around a friend house woke up an full blown meal, my mate miss cook a tin of them all day breakfast (beans, sausages and so on) it was nasty but i couldn't say i didn't like it, i love the fry toast, eggs and so on....

I would try and eat as much as I could to be polite! X

yea you have to be polite when someone spend time cooking you cant turn it away

I am just in polite then!   I couldnt lie if asked did you enjoy it but thats me

I would just say it was ok couldn't lie either but would try to soften the blow!   

Afraid I say it as it is I guess I wouldnt be at someones house that didnt know me, and they would not expect anything less from me   

I have a bad gag reflex for things i dont like and everyone that knows me expect the truth lol. i dont do sugar coating and at the risk of eating it for years to come i'd have to say, sorry its not for me. on the flip side i expect people to be just as honest with me, id hate to think i was putting all that effort into making crap lol

my nephew come around here nick pick bloody chicken meat it drive me up the all!! if my mum or dad wasn't i would throw them out and tell never around for an meal again!

Well I dont sugar coat things either, as said if asked I wouldnt lie tell the truth, am sure if friends they would appreciate my honesty   

I would probably pick at it and say I'm not hungry. Having said that, when I cook and someone says its a little under done or whatever I would prefer to know so I can at least offer something else or re-nuke it

well yea under done it has to be cook to someone standard... i blame me sister oh for the nephew they try to pick every bit of fat, vin or whatever in their chicken   if you get the chicken in your month and chew the bloody thing you even know it is there

if it was someone new then i may be a bit more diplomatic yet everyone that knows me would prob ask anyway. Ive been told some of the stuff ive cooked tastes like crap berfore and it probably did lol so i wont do it again. id me mortified if id been cooking someone somthing for years to find they'd been hiding under the plant pots

I get what yer saying Nath.. The only real cooking I do is out doors so doesn't really apply to me, but like you, I would be mortified   

i love chicken/turkey legs you get the odd black vein i would eat it pretty fast depend on the size of it lol it would take my nephews like 20min an normal size chicken leg!!

Ok I'm picky   

I don't like fatty bacon and would avoid the vein but maybe that's cos I'm a softy southerner   

my nan used to cook us liver or kidney and chips (yes i had to eat it all before i was allow out) so a bit of vein is n't going put me off  

I eat it all fat and everything! I swear I am a cannibal    All washed down with a nice Chianti

I just can't eat liver    think its cos of the same reasons in that I was force fed it as a kid

Only thing i cant eat is soft runny egg if that was served no way. Got a phobia about them, anything else i would at least try.

I would simply eat it. It's rude to not eat a homecooked meal.
