am i doing it right with the raw
Hi.
Sorry to be a pain ;-)
Just to make sure im along the right lines with this, iv started raw feeding but im such a germ freak hahaha but iv bought all the natures menu nuggets so she gets fed twice a day different flavours for each meal and also every other day a natures menu treat like the duck wings and things so she has the bones.
Also does doing it this way really reduce the risk of bacteria getting around as its never on the worktop and im not having to chop things up

Yeah that sounds fine not a pain at all, we're here to help
Preparing the raw food is just the same as if you were doing it for yourself, just clean up properly afterwards x

Yeah iv got totaly bleached hands now lmao! Someone told me the bacteria comes through coat lol i think everyone tries to wind me up tho no one believes im giving raw!
She is loving it, takes so long to defrost tho so stil tryin to time it right so its ready at a good time. Been leavin the morning meal in fridge overnight and its still icy.
My mum keeps sayim i shouldnt do it if im concerned bout it but she loves it and is actually shouting for her meals now! Il adjust to it.
So happy natures menu have made it so easy.
Does anyone know what the blocks are like? Do you have to add anything to them?

You can feed raw frozen anyway, Daisy has all her bones frozen or she won't eat them!

We also feed bits frozen Only way we can get him to eat his offal!
I have also read that they shed salmonella in their coat, but I am not sure to what extent. Most people I know wash their hands after touching Bane but (probably sounds gross) this has never been something I've worried about and I am yet to catch anything!
