Really bad dioreaha
For the last couple of days chase has had really bad dioreaha. His diet hasnt changed atall, so um not sure whats wrong. Its literally like his pooing water.
Any ideas what it may be?
If it keeps up today, um going to make an oppointment at the vets for tomorrow, Just thought ide ask you lot befor i hand over another large sum of money to the vet!
He doesnt seem ill atall, his still active, and playing, he does seem a little lethargic...so um really not sure whats wrong...Any ideas?

Re: Really bad dioreaha
Constant diorrhea (sp) is worrying because of the risk of dehydration. If he's had it for a couple of days and there's no reason (diet change etc) for it that you can tell, I'd get him checked out. I hope he gets better soon, big hugs to Chase

Re: Really bad dioreaha
You could try starving him for 24 hours, sounds harsh but I'm guessing thats what the vet will recommend anyway. x

That's a good point. Maybe it's worth giving that a try first.

Yer good point, the vet will probably suggest that. He usually has biscuits with some dog meat mixed in, so ive taken out the meat and his just got biscuits down at the moment, but without the meat he doesnt touch it until his really hungry, so that might do the trick.

Fingers crossed it works for you and Chase.

If it really is like water, then I'd take him to the vets. It may be nothing, but he will dehydrate quicker than he can take water in with the runs like that! The lethargy could be dehydration.
There are loads of causes of diarrhea and most of them are not serious, but one or two are, so I would say it's best to get him checked.
