pimples on belly?
Hi
Calvin has suddenly developed what looks abit like human acne on his underside including his leg folds and his bits. He isn't itching and they don't seem to bother him, pus does come out if you give them a squeeze. He is aged between 1 year and 1.5 years. Can dogs have acne? Nothing in his routine is different. Both my dogs had vomiting and he has also had diarrohea yesterday. My girl dog does not have the pimples.

Re: pimples on belly?
Calvin took a turn for the worse and became very lethargic and wouldn't eat. He had to go to the vets as urgent and had to stay for the day. They don't know what is wrong for him except that he is sick. They think he has an allergy but to what we don't know, they don't know why he has D and V. He had to have a drip and 2 injections, he also has some tablets and what appears to be doggy gaviscon. He needs to go back Thursday and isn't allowed much exercise.

Re: pimples on belly?
Thank you all
Yes he is more himself today, his stomach isn't red anymore, he still has some spot like things but they are now yellow and don't look so much like acne. Sorry I didn't get a chance to take a pic before he scratched himself red raw and got very sick. He is dinking plenty of water but is still off his food alothugh he is eating a small amount. Getting him to eat his tablets is easy, getting the liquid medicine in him isn't, he doesn't like it and spits it out all over the place. He still has diarrohea but atleast there are actual stools now, before it came out like water from a super soaker and was just mucus.

Lets hope he's on the road to recovery. Did the vet find out what caused it ?
