I have spoken to the local vet and she has said that Rexy is fine to come in, if I am living there I need a licence. DEFRA have said there are no entry or exit issues. Thanks for the help!

As long as I abide by the spanish rules etc I don't forsee a problem. I know 100% that my dog isn't aggressive towards other animals, shes scared of the cat!! The dogs aren't banned so I will take her and see how it goes. My concern was having her taken from me which isnt going happen.

website wrote:The dangerous dogs law seems to be a very grey area as each municipality seems to have different rules, or they simply do not have the correct information. Because of this, I will give you my experience of obtaining the licence.

I agree Steve, but having spoken to the vet in the municipality I am staying in she assures me its fine. I work oversees so dont get too much time with her as it is. I am confident that all will be OK.

She will be fine. There are so many staffords and breeders in Spain and we are also flying Marquez into Barcelona airport. We had no problems with our Dogo Argentinos either who are much larger than staffords in all the time we lived there (no muzzling ever). Some areas they do say are strict but we never experienced it.

Never had a licence with any of our 3 Dogo Argentinos and we took our dogs out into public places all the time. Not even the guardia looked twice at the them Smile
