Linacre reservoirs

Very nice woodland walk around 3 reservoirs, all proper paths and mostly flat. Took us an hour and a half but we weren't walking fast as stopped to take photos. Recommend it if your nearby

That's just 15 minutes from me!  Lovely to walk around on a sunny day and roughly 5 miles to walk around all 3 reservoirs.  It's also where the 'woof and wellies' event is held every year as the Ashgate Hospice is also nearby.

I actually live in a village on the edge of chesterfield (3 miles from the town center, it's called Arkwright Town).  I'm also about 2 mins from J29a of the M1.  Have you been to Rother Valley Country Park?  It's very nice there too, also nearby is Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park.  Carsington Water is a bit further afield but also very nice to spend a day walking with the pooch.   

Not heard of that but I'm sure my mum will know it, she's from chesterfield. I've been to rother valley a few times, have a friend that lives near by   carsington water is near Matlock isn't it? I have been to sherwood but not with Daisy   

Yes. Carsington is through Matlock Bath. Head out to Crich and it's sign posted.

It's a fair drive from mine (I'm up in west Sheffield) but will aim to do it one day
