Rocky has Barking Heads now but was on James Wellbeloved before which is a good quality and reasonably priced food that is also easily available. Sorry never used either of the other two.

I am leaning towards wainwrights, they seem to have more choice in flavours than burns which will be nice to mix it up.a bit for him, my friend is trying to get me to lean towards burns but I'm not too sure..

Re: narrowed down to 3
I always buy 2 2kg bags of different flavours then when they run out I buy the other two flavours. I wouldn't want the same thing every night. Usually she has something added like egg or pilchardsfreyj4z wrote:I am leaning towards wainwrights, they seem to have more choice in flavours than burns which will be nice to mix it up.a bit for him, my friend is trying to get me to lean towards burns but I'm not too sure..

Re: narrowed down to 3
Ahhh yeh that's a good idea, when he gets bigger I wanna get the big bags cause they are more cost effective, the only thing I don't like about burns is they only have two flavours when the wainwrights and jwb have 4 each....

Hi, I have to say that brody is looking so good since changing to Orijen adult food. It is a bit pricey at £60ish for 13kg but it lasts the 2 months. I just wish I started him on it years ago. So there's another option for you lol

Orijen has always been a good one for my dogs in the past. The last 2 dry food I used with my last dog was Canidae Pure Land Bison and Taste of the Wild High Prairie Formula - Both grain free products and my dog who did have skin issues had none on these.
With Marquez, I've gone the raw route and I do wish I did this with previous dogs. I'm not always picking up poos in the backyard anymore and when if I do, they are nothing like my other dogs waste. Max once a day if I'm lucky in the backyard and during a walk but never more than that. His really shiny coat and lack of smelly gas is awesome as well. He can still drop a nasty fart sometimes but its nothing like when we first brought him home and he was eating dry food.

Initially it can sound confusing and daunting but once you get the basics and into it, you'll find that it's not as confusing as you thought The site that really helped me was The Dogs Dinner as they have how much and what to feed in easy quick guides. Some great tips in the Raw section here too.

Re: narrowed down to 3
I like wainwrights Used to feed all of my boarding kennel dogs on JWB which they did well on too! I fed burns to any highly active dogs in kennels to lessen the protein content, but don't know many dogs that will eat it without a load of meat mixed in; it's a bit bland. I feed nature diet personally, it's wet food, Biscuit does really well on it, great for her skin problems!

Jolleys stock it and it's available on line from Zoo Plus, a 6 Kilo bag lasts Rocky about 6-7 weeks:

Ahh cool!!! I'm I'm glad of all these options I have makes it quite calming. For me, I've decided burns is off the table at the moment and I'm gonna choose between James wellbeloved and wainwrights, but for the moment he's on pedigree!! I can't believe the day is nearly here I thought it would never come.
