What a day
Woken up fighting off sore throat and over heating, but that's ok! On Thursday my little set-top box was struck by lightening so we went online to order a wi-fi dongle for it. The company's site said they had stock - we ordered and paid and on Friday my OH called to follow up to be told they don't have stock and it'll be a week - even though they're so quick to take the money! I've been dealing with them today and have been referred to as "that woman" in an email and told that the boss is the boss and comes and goes as he likes and I may not have access to him. I'm furious!!!!!
My garden service: for three weeks now, I've had to tell what to do as opposed to them getting on with what they're meant to - and the broke one of my little cactus today. I phone the manager and instead of letting me speak he says "sorry they didn't come today, we'll be there tomorrow." To which I replied, if you'd let me speak, they did come today and that's not what I'm phoning about.
I'm simply fuming today

Re: What a day
With anything like this I always write an old fashioned letter to the head of the company the CEO or whoever. They really do not receiving letters from me and this does prompt an early reply usually. The brown, smelly, runny stuff does roll downhill and will find the right person then.

Re: What a day
I agree Kathy and that's what I did. My response from the tech company was "well, we've never had any other complaints" and from the garden service: no response
Trying to have a more positive day though
