you know my bed i was thinking about filling it up with grass cutting so it can rot down in the soil what do you think?

Why don't you get a composter. You can buy them from your local council, my sister has one. Then nothing is wasted  biggrin

wooo hoooo

me and my dad just decided we doing 4 differnet ways

1) chicken manure, horse manure (only becasue we can ge it without begging people we dont know) with muti purpose compost with nettle tea.

2) miracle grow potting mix with miracle grow plant food

3) muiti purpoes compost with chempak formula 4

4) is the same way my dad grow tomatoes


whatever give us the best yield we will stick with and play around with it next year to get it right Smile

i think i'm going prune 1 of each differnet way to grow small plant but better yields and let the other grow tall and see how they get on

it you prune you you wont need to use scaffolding to support and you also meant to get more per plant

This is what you need Steve for all your grass cuttings and old veg plants when they finished. Make your own compost for next year. Heres mine, I use to put on flowerbeds.
