Thanks to you all for the nice comments and the warm welcome.

Stella is very special to us. She's had lots of problems during her 13 years but has overcome them all. Apart from her suffering from arthritis these past few years, her general health is quite good. We manage her pain as best we can and she still loves to dig on the beach albeit a lot slower.

I suppose it comes to us all eventually!!! Big Grin

Thanks Kellie, we had a lovely little party for her with sausages and cake. A quiet and relaxed affair really, just how she likes things to be. Then all of a sudden, she stands in the middle of the kitchen, squats and pee's without a care in the world. I think she had a senior moment which happens occasionally now, bless her.

Emma, she enjoyed her sausages and cake and so did I Laughing

Unfortunately she is turning into a little barrel but i'm not worrying too much as she deserves a treat now and again at her age.
The trouble is, I'm putting weight on as well because the exercise has decreased significantly over the past year for both of us. I loved taking her for long walks full of exciting adventures but those days have gone now. Your Bane is beautiful. Youthfulness is wonderful and you and Bane have many happy years to come. Enjoy!! xx
