New Antler = Happy Radley! Empty New Antler = Happy Radley!

Post by Ditchers Mon Mar 31 2014, 16:00

Radley munched his first antler a few days ago and he's been a bit bereft since - so a quick walkies to Pets Corner and he's much happier:

He goes bonkers for them, he even picked the one he wanted - I think all those antlers were a bit too much for him as he promptly pee'd on the shop floor with the excitement of it all when the shop assistant came over to see him!

Definitely!

He seemed a bit quiet this morning, so we thought we'd get him a new one to see if it perked him up, it certainly did and he's running up and down the house like a lunatic again.

Also picked up some Kong squeakair tennis balls for him and they're proving to be a hit too!

They are good value for money but I heard someone say recently that the deer antlers can damage the dogs teeth by reducing the dentine on them ? Not sure how much truth is in this though. We keep an eye on the amount of time Rocky has his for and wouldn't leave him with it all day.

I too have heard this so will also be keeping an eye on his tooth condition and keeping an eye on reviews/feedback going forward.

Will be a shame if they are detrimental to his teeth as he absolutely adores it.
