dry food recomendations - Working dog food Empty Working dog food

Hi guys

My crewmate has 4 pet dogs and he feeds them working dog food which costs about £10 for 20kg, he thinks I should start feeding Calvin working dog food as it will save us money. My concern is that as Calvin is not a working dog that he will end up hyper because I think the working food has more calories and higher protein. Having said that I know that Calvin has more exercise on average per day than my crewmates dogs and they seem to be perfectly fine on it. Also I wonder what exactly is in the working food for it to be so cheap. If there is no real difference between it ad JWB then it would make sense to get it instead. Has anyone here fed their staffy on working dog food?

No, you are exactly right, it is designed for dogs that are on the go all day. I wouldn't feed it to a pet dog  Smile

Hi, in my local shop the guy told me that not all "working" dog foods is actually for working dogs, he then said the reason why some off the bags say working dog on it is because you don't pay VAT on it so keeps the price down slightly

Hi. I feed my three dogs working dog food and none of them are working. The comment above is correct that if it is titled 'working', it does not charge VAT. Obviously the quality will be higher, more protein content etc with less bad source carbs like grains etc
